Julie Bussières est professionnelle de recherche dans le laboratoire de Line Lapointe. Elle travaille à l'analyse et à l'écriture de plusieurs manuscrits. Je suis également en charge de deux projets de recherche: un projet de plantation d'ail des bois en sous-bois et un projet de développement de culture de chicouté en tourbière.

THÈMES DE RECHERCHE

Mes activités de recherche se centrent sur la planification stratégique des activités en forêt et visent à y intégrer des notions issues de l’écologie fonctionnelle (compréhension des processus).

L’élaboration de stratégies d’aménagement requiert également des sauts d’échelle spatio-temporels qui impliquent la prise en compte du risque (le futur est incertain), de la variabilité (notre connaissance du territoire est partielle) et de l’ignorance (nos modèles n’arrivent pas à tout maîtriser).

En avril 2008, le FQRNT octroyait a une équipe de chercheurs du CEF (dont F. Raulier est le chercheur principal) une subvention majeure centrée autour de la problématique du calcul de la possibilité forestière.

Il est aussi membre du réseau stratégique CRSNG sur l'aménagement forestier pour les produits ajoutés  (ForetValeur).
