THÈMES DE RECHERCHE
  • Chercheuse en génomique forestière, spécialisée dans l’étude de la capacité d’adaptation des espèces forestières face aux changements environnementaux. Ses recherches combinent des approches innovantes en génomique des populations, dendroécologie et phénotypage de précision afin de mieux comprendre les réponses des arbres aux variations climatiques, tant passées qu’actuelles.
  • Ses recherches portent également sur l’acquisition de données de base en biodiversité (biogéographie, adaptation locale et hybridation) pour les espèces ligneuses pérennes (y compris les espèces en péril), afin d’éclairer la gestion des ressources naturelles et la conservation.
  • Elle développe également des outils pour l’identification du bois et la détermination de son origine géographique, dans le but de renforcer la traçabilité de la chaîne d’approvisionnement forestière et d’assurer la provenance des sources de semences.
  • Professeure associée à la recherche à la Chaire de recherche du Canada en génomique forestière de l’Université Laval, elle participe activement à des initiatives nationales et internationales en adaptation forestière et en conservation génétique.
  • Elle fait partie du comité exécutif de la North American Forest Genetics Society .
