THÈMES DE RECHERCHE
Comprendre les effets directs et indirects des activités humaines sur les écosystèmes forestiers et agricoles, dans le but d’atténuer et de s’adapter aux changements climatiques, de conserver la biodiversité et les services écosystémiques, ainsi que d’améliorer la résilience environnementale.
Ces intérêts sont poursuivis via l’application de la télédétection, de l’intelligence artificelle (IA), à laquelle s’ajoute l’intégration de différentes méthodes de collecte de données de terrain pour développer et valider les modèles, et sont orientés à fournir des données probantes pour appuyer la prise de décisions pour le développement durable.
