THÈMES DE RECHERCHE

Je suis professeur agrégé a l'UQAC, et Codirecteur de la Chaire en éco-conseil  et Codirecteur de Carbone boréal

Mes champs d’expertise sont l’écologie industrielle et la lutte aux changements climatiques.

Mes travaux cherchent à déterminer l’effet des sous-produits industriels fertilisants sur la biogéochimie et la fertilité des sols. De plus, mes recherches visent à produire de nouvelles connaissances pour améliorer des pratiques de sylviculture en territoire de remise en production (e.g., effets des sous-produits industriels sur une plantation de pin gris en dénudés secs de l’infrastructure de recherche Carbone boréal) et en agroforesterie (haies brise-vent). Finalement, mes objectifs généraux sont d’opérationnaliser l’utilisation de sous-produits industriels fertilisants pour la production sylvicole. Je travaille en multidisciplinarité par la combinaison des thèmes identifiés ici, en interdisciplinarité par l’intégration d’aspects économiques à

Mes objectifs de carrière en recherche sont de répondre aux défis multidimensionnels de l’application de l’écologie industrielle et de la lutte aux changements climatiques à travers mes travaux sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre (GES) et de composés organiques volatils (COV). Mes thèmes de recherche sont :

  • Gestion et valorisation de sous-produits industriels pour le développement d’une économie circulaire
  • Réduction des gaz à effet de serre et atteinte de la carboneutralité pour des organismes publics et privés
  • Échanges gazeux et de COV : sol-microorganismes-plantes-atmosphère
  • Mesures et quantification des émissions de GES d’écosystèmes artificiels, boréaux et subarctiques
  • Effets des changements climatiques sur les émissions de COV
  • Interactions multitrophiques via les COV
