THÈMES DE RECHERCHE
My research is centered on the interdisciplinary field of soil-plant-atmosphere interactions and is geared towards a predictive understanding of ecosystem functioning and resilience to environmental changes. My current research focuses on:
- developing advanced statistical tools to analyze multivariate Earth system datasets and reveal emerging constraints in biogeochemical processes;
- modeling terrestrial ecosystem functioning across a continuum of spatiotemporal scales, spanning from short-term and local-scale plant physiological processes to long-term and large-scale ecosystem variability; and
- monitoring tree growth, water use, and functional traits to better characterize tree-level carbon, water, and energy dynamics.
